There are several possibilities here.
1) Set your brake, make sure you are in nuetral, and turn on the ignition switch. Take a screwdriver and short the two big screw posts on the starter solenoid together (some sparking OK). Does the starter turn? Does the quad start up?
2) Try jumping your quad battery to your car (take extra care to get the polarity right). Does your starter turn now?
3) Measure the DC voltage right on the battery terminals while attempting to start the quad (i.e. solenoid is clicked). Make sure you are placing the meter leads right on the batery terminals - not the lugs on the terminals, or the wires in the lugs on the terminals. What voltage do you read? You should see a slight voltage drop when the starter solenoid goes "click", but it should *not* drop below 11 volts.
4) Repeat test 3 above only measure the voltage right at the starter motor while the solenoid is "clicked". Red lead on the starter motor post and the black lead on the starter motor frame. What do you measure?
This is a start. From your results we will have a better idea of which direction to go from here.
