REDCAT fx250

This one Starts fine and idles very nice, I can run it at 1/4 throttle just fine, but when we get to half throttle it stutters, and nearly dies, like it is choking out. Could the electric choke be shot, I just replaced the cdi box. Everything else works fine. Should I replace the carb or unbolt the electric choke? any recommendations for me? ?
Can I loose the electric choke carb and put on a mannual choke carb?

Doesn't sound like a choke problem to me.
If it were a choke problem it would run fine when cold but bad when warm (if the choke was stuck in the fuel enrichened position), or bad when cold and fine when warm (if it was stuck in the normal operation position).
It sounds like a dirty carburetor to me.
What you call a choke is actually a bystarter valve. Instead of "choking off" the air flow to get a richer air/fuel mixture, the bystarter valve opens up an extra fuel passage when cold to enrichen the air/fuel mixture. But again this doesn't sound like your problem...
