my cdi unit gettin power to it but aint gettin a spark..i suspect the cdi unit gne,but sumone else reconz different..does it hav to b the same cdi unit or cud i try any??its a 100cc

 

What brand atv is this? I can move this thread to the proper section and get you some more help.

fink its a import mate..bought it from a lad who sayz its a quadzilla.. but av got ma doubts..got it for ma ladz but not gettin a spark..gettin power to the cdi but nothin cumin owt ov it...thankz

At 100cc, I'm guessing it's gonna be a China made atv. Definitely not a Suzuki.

Down about three or four posts in, look at the 4 pin and 5 pin CDI pictures. Do either of these look like your CDI?

 

my cdi unit has a 2 pin goin in and a 3 pin cumin owt..i have power goin in but nothin cumin owt..i suspect the cdi unit has gone..am gettin power everywere else,jst nothin gettin to the coil...thanks
