taotao ATA-125D max weight 132LBS ?
hey guys quick question .i picked up a TAOTAO ATA-125D
for my little girls to ride around our yard ,all level and just grass
it has a max weight of 132LBS for rider and all cargo i was just wondering what would happen if i took it for the odd quick spin around the yard ,does the max weight have to do with the frame not being strong enough .or does it have to do with the clutch not being strong enough and the added weight of me (180LBS) causing the clutch to slip and burn up quicker. anybody have any thoughts on this .also this quad has the 125CC motor in it with reverse.
all reply's welcome thanks

it will add extra wear and tear on the engine and transmission clutch with that being said everrything that has a weight limit on it I.E. bridges, trailers etc are under exagerated. if a bridge says its capable of handling a max of 10,000 it will safely hold 12,000 with no issues this is done because the engineers know that people are going to push that limit and prolonged use at higher weights will deteriate it faster causing replacement to be made sooner. an occasional cruise wont harm it any if your towing a deer out or using it for hill climbing and such it will not last
