ATV Upside down/now running rough

ATV Upside down/now running rough
I had to turn my little girls Tao Tao 110CC upside down to get somthing out of the gas tank she dropped in. Now it runs rough and smokes. I have cleaned the spark plug and sprayed carb cleaner in the spark plug hole and then hit the starter to blow it out. It still runs rough, before it ran like a charm, Help please

Should be fine once it's sits upright for awhile. Did you check airbox (filter)...

I was once told that you NEVER turn a carburetor upside-down because sediment that was previously settled can work it's way into areas that cause problems.
I don't know if there's any truth to it but if I couldn't figure out anything else I'd try cleaning the carb.
