Default flywheel key

thanx to everyone who offered suggestion on my problem, the key must be damaged, its in the shaft, but the flywheel will not just "slide back on" it goes about halfway the will not budge any further, not all the way back to a "seated" positiion, there must either be some "burrs" or the key is not sitting right., going to try ordering a new key and see if that works, hopefully, i m about ready to throw this brand new piece of junk to the curb. thanx again, jon

Have you tried rotating the flywheel? Maybe you are not lines up correctly. Another thing is make sure that you have the sprocket and one way clutch on right as well. I had to slide the sprocket into the back of the one way, then install it as a unit, otherwise the sprocket got hung up and would not go into the back all the way.
