Recently bought the 8&3 year old one of these little buggies. The kids are always running around the farm in the unit until 1 day it just stopped!

I checked everything on the unit and noticed there was no spark. first thing I did was change the spark plug (Still nothing)

After reading the very helpful threads in here I now know that the stator is the issue! I took it back to the dealer and they are going to replace the stator, CDI and coil just to make sure I'm not coming back!!!!

Is there any other known issues to date with these buggies I should be aware of?

Let's hope the dealer is succesful, but it sounds to me like they are just guessing by changing parts at random. I hope they are paying for this (under warranty) and not you. This is not the way I would tackle this problem.

It does not follow from your description that the stator is definately the problem. It could also be kill switch issues and wiring issues - as well as plug, CDI, and/or coil. But there are ways you can narrow this down with a meter...

If it comes back from the dealer still broken then get yourself a meter and we can dig in deeper...
