Default gy6 carb help...please

I just picked up a hensim 150cc. when i bought it the seller told me it starts but dies when u hit the gas. I took the carb apart and cleaned every hole and jet very nicely. while i was cleaning the inside under the floats, a silver piece of metal fell out and now i cant find where it goes. i'm including a picture of what the jets looks like. what I also have another question if anyone can identify what this fitting is for aka wat is supposed to connect to it, it would really help thanks guys.

thanks for the quick response, that's what im thinking, maybe it goes under the jets inside. i just watched a video and this guy said that the tube that comes from the gas tank should go into the fitting i have circled in the first picture, but the way it was on my quad was different

The fitting on the carb should go to some where in the intake .. manifold maybe... or near it... Id guess its for vacuum

The 2 inner jets (main and pilot) are supposed to be screwed all the way in.. they are not adjustable unless you get a new one..
