Have a 400cc odes engine that would not electric shift to N without pulling R lever. It would not shift to R,no motor action heard. Manually pulling R lever it will shift to R.
Thought the gear position sensor was out so took engine apart and hooked up harness,turned selector and it registers N lined up w shift drum notch,and all other gears when rotated.
Put engine back together started and shifted electrically to R, then to N then to 1. Went to down shift went to N ,but again stopped shifting to R with lever pulled. Went back to 1, and then had to pull R lever to get it back in N electrically.

Want is wrong with the electronic shift and where can I get a manual other than the 06 Honda rancher 350FE one I have been using that is close?
