well it's got the racks of an Eton (polaris based).........run the VIN....look on the front handle grab bar and see if there is a metal ID tag or look for the metal sticker on the vertical part of the steering shaft......that'll tell you a lot.......use the VIN decoder that's been posted.........

OK, Me too! I have a 2008 "Cools" (what the title calls it) 150cc Quad. Definately a China made GY6-whatever motor/belt drive setup. VIN #L6ZSCKLC671001691 just turns up made in China in 2007. I need parts for the reverse cable and arm on the axle gearbox. I don't know if that's the official name for the part just the best description I can give....

Welcome to the forum DirtyErnie!

Pretty sure there were Coolster's and Cool Sports in the last 5-7 years..

As for the rear end..My Jetomto has the same rear end... I have no idea where to get parts.. you may need to find a drum brake arm from a old dirt bike that would fit.. the cable could be made from a generic go cart or minibike brake cable..

Default Bic lighters

Chinese quads are the bic lighters of the quad market, They are only good till the 1 tank of fuel runs out, that is why they are cheaper than the refilable lighters(quads). When will people learn you get what you pay for, it is the same thing with all the chinese generators out there, no replacement parts , just send them to the trash.

OK, I hope you feel better now. How about going back to the My-quads-better-than-yours forum and stay out of the Chinese quads if you don't have anything nice to say....

Thanks,
I did a little digging around today, I think it's a Coolster 3150B. But yeah, I'm going to have to rig something to work. That's ok I have a nice Miller MIG that'll fix'er up good. I've already got her sold and I haven't even got the title in the mail yet.

Realistic expectations is the name of the game. No way are chinese quads up to the same quality as the name brands, but they're dang cheap and a lot of fun. I've had a lot more than "1 tank of fuel" through mine. In fact I've well over 2500 miles on mine, and it still runs like new. If I had to buy this quad all over again I would do it in a heartbeat. I've had problems to be sure, but all of them easily solvable, and I've had no problems finding parts. To each their own. I don't fault anyone for buying a Japanese quad. What puzzles me is why there is so much venom expressed against people who buy chinese quads? Why does it bother you so much what other people do with their money?

I don't know anything about chinese generators. Perhaps you bought a junk chinese generator and this made you so bitter?

Are you against Bic lighters too? I have bought several of them to light my barbeque and they work just fine. So I should buy the refillable lighters why?

Its interesting for sure..

I bought a Champion brand from Kragens.. 4000 watt. changed the oil and put a Autolite spark plug in it before starting it up..(5 yrs ago) thing runs great and is fairly quiet(for the places I go) only problem Ive had was the starter cord broke.. never thought about throwing it away.. I just got a new cord..

Bics are kinda expensive.. I buy the real cheap one's.
