Hi guys i put a thread on about my 2005 250 baja has red pipe all the time. Some one said i got to lean or not lean enuf dose that mean more gas or less and do i fix it by lowering needle on top of carb up or down someone esle said you can ajust the needle up or down to do that .please help thank you

 

The engine is to lean, you need more gas. Raise the needle if you do anything. What mods have you done? Airbox, exhaust, ect

 

I cleaned muffler and cleaned carb but the pipe still turns red

 

If you ride at or near full throttle.. its normal.. by lowering the clip on the needle you would richen things some but most need richer jets to run their best..

 

So what are you saying to do to fix the red pipe prolbem do something with the needle on the top of carb put it up or down witch way if thats what your telling me .sorry i don;t no much about them did you see this happen before.and thats what you have to do .

i didn;t start it but plug is black and gasy looking
