ok well got the thing to run

had it on stands and put it in gear and first worked

2nd worked for about 1/2 turn and locks

3rd sometimes turns a little then locks

rev dont do anything just locks

N is like first drives.. so i assume something is wrong with first?
im sure i need to crack the case any directions to help?

well i figured out what the issue was.....

the first gear was welded to the shaft.. after spending all day taking it apart and trying to figure out how it worked.. i ended up having to hammer the gear off and then i honed out the inside of the gear and then smoothed the shaft..

put it back together and it works well
