If wiggling the ignition switch in the "on" position causes power to come on and off then you need a new igntion switch. Just make sure it is the "switch" you are wiggling that is the cause, and not the wires or connectors nearby.

 

just installed the new ignition switch.quad is fully restored, except for the fact i don't have my kickstart installed
