Default hammerhead off road

i have a hammerhead twister which has the honda gy6 engine the starter spins but it want crank the motor over does anyone know what might be going on

Are you sure it's a Honda engine and not a Chinese knock-off. Never heard of Hammerhead but that doesn't mean too much. I've been wrong before.

Welcome to the forums.

First thing I'd check would be to see if the starter solenoid is engaging the flywheel. Hopefully, it's something that easy to diagnose.

Also, I'm moving this over to the Chinese section as this is one of the many clones from that area.

the starter shaft its self spins but does not move in or out it does not have an actuator

Do you have the starter off the machine? If so, how do the teeth look.

Also, with the spark plug out, can you get the engine to turn over manually?

Can you roll it while it's in high gear? Just checking to make sure the motor itself isn't locked up.

there is only one gear a hammerhead is a go kart the motor isnt seased up i took side cover off where the magneto is ang i can turn the magneto or the crankshaft so i know its not seased

Ok, not familiar with it more than I've seen the name in here before.

If the motor is turning, the the flywheel is turning with the motor, I'd go back to the starter itself. You say you hear is spinning, but is it making any other noises? Have you taken it apart yet?
