Or if you know of another brand or option around that $750 area, let me know. Thanks for the help in advance!
fit the kid to the quad. a needle valve replacement or a good carb cleaning would probably fix that as long as the owner ain't hiding any other problems. off $700 if he can't start it for you. just check the crankcase oil for gasoline contamination if it has stuck open. up to you, your money

as far as china quads go, some folks by the little ones, pass them from kid to kid cause they outgrow them fairly quickly. if they break, it's a cheap fix, then sell'em to someone else for a little bit of nothing. for an 11 yr old, the 125-250 size would be fine and last him a while.

Does any one know the model of this quad. It looks to be a Coolster Mountopz-200 but the parts inside do not match up.

chad,
that looks like a hibird 250cc. not sure the year model, maybe 2009-2010? you'll need to run the VIN to verify. on the front, behind the pushbar, there may be a metal ID tag. look there, if it wasn't taken off, it should be there. if not, check the left hand side of the frame for the VIN and use the decoder.
