Info on these types of quads?

My son has been after a atv and he found one on craigslist,it doesnt say what brand but its new and it cost $750,so I figure its some chinese brand.
This is it,I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is?
NEW 2011 ATV 110cc auto with remote Camo Green Utility
My son is 11 ,average kid and weighs under 100lbs would a 110cc be a good size for him? We dont have many places to ride,so it will just be around the yard, and take him to a field once in a while,So we wont be doing any major trail riding etc.
So I guess my next question is,are these types of quads and good or are they pretty much disposable after a season? Or would I be better off getting a used kawasaki,I seen a used 2002 220 bayou needed a fuel needle replaced and they wanted $1000 OBO so I could probably get it for the same as the chinese quad?
Or if you know of another brand or option around that $750 area, let me know. Thanks for the help in advance!

Honestly, I would go with the name-brand quad especially if your time and lack of frustration is worth anything! Never having owned one, but watched this forum for a couple years now, it seems that there are a lot of people having issues with the Chinese spin-off models. I would rather have the 10 yr old name brand than the new chinese model!

I gotta agree with mudslinger. I looked into these Chinese quads for my son but once you see one in person you will change your mind. First of all they are very small, even the "110 cc" model. And you end up just replacing parts that shouldn't need replacement every (cdi's, coil, wire harness, etc...). I ended up finding a clean used Eton Viper for $700 and the difference in quality is huge. The company that builds the Eton also makes some of the entry models (90cc) for the big names. I would grab the 10 year old Bayou (or something like it) if I were you.

the quad pictured in your link is a Jet Moto 110. here is a link to buy one for $675 delivered to your door.
Kid Atvs Jetmoto Alpine Mini ATV 110 UT 110cc ATV full auto mini Kids Atv For Sale Jetmoto ATV Roketa Kazuma
I have a 2007 JetMoto that my kids ride almost every weekend. I check for loose bolts regularly and do normal maintenance. Other than that I have had no problems with mine. The only issue I have is the air filter is exposed, so water can be dangerous to the engine, I am in the process of building a custom airbox for mine. Other than that, considering I bought it with the understanding my 5yr old and 10yr old (only weighs 74lb) will outgrow the bike and I will sell for about half what I paid I have no complaints about the bike.
I actually own an older Yamaha Moto4 100cc and my Chinese 110 will smoke the moto4 all day.

when I was in the market I looked at the TaoTao 250s they were new about 1100 fortunatly before I bought one I had the opertunity to test drive one that a guy had (it was 3 months old) for sale for a 250 it had no power at all in 1st gear it would not pull me up a 5 foot tall hill (about 30 degree incline such as a ditch would be) I had to get a run at it. I wanted a utility quad for dragging deer and doing some work. if it wouldnt pull me up a hill it sure wouldnt pull a deer for me so that was what really turned me off to them

I got my 10yr old the 125 cc version of that quad. I was able to find it from a distributer that was ~3 hrs away for $550 brand new, that was why I decided to get it. at $750 for a 110, I would not have.
Even the 125 was underpowered for my son. I am pretty sure it is just a gearing issue though.. it flies on top, but accelerates horribly. Luckily that is a cheap fix. I ordered a $25 sprocket, but his chain wasn't long enough.. new one will be here thursday..
if you can afford a japanese quad, like everyone else has said, that is the best route.
That being said sons freind has a suzuki lt80 (80cc 2 stroke) that is all fixed up.. punched out motor, big wide wheels and tires, extended suspension, and my sons china quad goes everywhere the lt80 goes and gets stuck much less when we ride in the mud, not too mention the lt80 fouls plugs left and right...
the only advantage the lt80 has is acceleration, it will pull the wheels from the launch if you hammer the throttle
