Peace Sports 110cc atv chain coming off front sprocket
Can someone please tell me how do i keep the chain on the front sprocket that holds the chain on. i just purchased this atv from an original owner and when i took it off the truck and backed it up the chain and small front star sprocket fell off. i took the cover plate off and put the chain and star sprocket back on but it keeps coming off. is there a clamp that snaps on where the sprocket mounts or does the cover plate supposed to be close enough to keep it from coming off? I also would like to know if any one can send me the service manual for my atv model number peace tpatv516-110
thanks !

do you have 2 of these on your rear axle? if so, these are the chain adjustments. is your chain straight from the front sprocket to the rear sprocket? alignment and tension is key here. is your front sprocket worn down or worn out? is the chain in decent shape or is it stretched and in need of replacement? just a few questions to help you line this machine out. the cover plate should be sufficient.

not much to say as far as adjustment goes. just make sure the sprockets are in line with each other. measure if you have to so as to keep the axle plumb. chain doesn't have to be super tight. i know you know the suspension will move and you must have room for the chain to move as the suspension moves. good luck.

the front sprocket should never fall off.. the retainer is on in the pic above this post, it has two bolts on it
if that is there, and the sprocket falls off it is either broken or the output shaft is messed up
if it is missing it should only cost you a couple bucks and you will be up and running again
