A friend of mine has a Kuzuma 110 that runs good till it is put in third gear. It will restart when it back in neutral. The carb has been gone through. Any ideas would be helpful.

so let us get this right.....the quad idles and revs just fine. stick it in 1st and she runs great, grab 2nd and off she goes no problem. stick it in 3rd and WHAT? it bogs down? drowns out? or instantly dies like the gear has lost a bearing and locks it down immediately like you hammered down on the brake in gear on a clutched motorcycle??

 

I dont know if it dies immediately or bogges first I will try to find out today.I have not seen it act up, he is just telling me what is wrong. I am trying to know what to expect before I work on it.

It just dies no bog no hesitation, just dies as soon as it is shifted into third gear.
