Question Metal shavings in oil

I recently purchased a New trail rover 250cc which has a chinese motor of what brand idk I rode it alot last weekend and decided that I would change the oil this weekend since it is just getting broke in there were so many metal shavings in the oil it almost looked grey in the sun is this normal? The manufacture/distributor claim to back there quads with a two year warranty should I be worried? also what should the compression be so that I can monitor the engines wear?

Well, they ship these things with crap oil. Prolly should have changed it from the git go. Compression should be around 150psi. Test it with the throttle wide open.
