Okay here is the story behind this Quad. I picked this ATV up for basically 50 bucks. It ran when I got it, ran poorly as the dude I got it from didn't put oil in the oil tank since its a 2 stroke. So I found a rebuild kit on Ebay, cylinder,piston,wrist pin gaskets etc. rebuilt it removed the oil tank and just started putted mixed fuel in the tank.
From my research anyways its a 90CC with a minarelli ( yamaha jog knock off ) engine. Bike runs okay but not like a feel like it should.
I live in NM which is 5600 feet above sea level so I jetted it down some came with a 75 I put in a 60. Also adjusted the needled up and down with no change. I've never been to good with jetting on 2 strokes but It runs pretty decent now only problem is it won't idel The idle mix screw has to be all the way in or it runs like garbage. It won't take off just bogs etc. With the screw all the way in it takes off good has good mid range and top end. I don't get it maybe someone could help.
Here is a pic of the ATV. It was yellow when we got it but my son wanted green so we repainted it. Its electric start but also has a handle on the side which looks like a kick starter but you pull up on it not down like a normal kick starter. Its full automatic no gears. Thanks for any help. I need to figure out what it is so I can buy a new fuel tank for it.
Also need some help on the jetting so it will idle and run great so my son can enjoy it.

 

Im guessing I need to get a different pilot jet but unsure of which direction I need to buy or what this atv has in it to start.

It looks just like a Suzuki LT80 but its not.

 

check the vertical run tube under the handlebars and plastics. there may be an ID sticker there. some manufacturers put a metal ID tag near the front grab handle on the very front of the quad. can you find the VIN on lower left hand side of the frame? 17 digit alpha-numeric code? does the engine have any identifying stamps on it? there may even be a tag under the vented hood in front of the handlebars.

 

until I can get more pics (at work now lol ) what about the jetting anyone help.
