i'm no jetting expert, nor do i go changing jets. i understand about your altitude and what not, but it sounds like you're going in the right direction. maybe one more size or so and you may have the corret combination your're looking for.

 

Just weird it won't idle, and the pilot screw shouldn't affect the whole rpm range.
