need any and all ideas you guys are using on the front of these quads to keep them tight and rattle free. i am 6ft4 275 and can put alot on these bolts i have done the lock washers deal the loctite deal and with in 5 minutes something starts rattling or theres a slight play in the steering or hub area i just dont get it....thanks

I dont know if your problem is the same (since you mention you tried lockwashers) but on mine all the suspension bolts have castle nuts with cotter keys. Unfortunately the cotter key hole was so low that the castle nut would loosen and the suspension would get a bunch of slack before the cotter key engaged the prongs on the castle nut. I could turn the bars a good inch left or right without moving the tires..

I just bought a bag of appropriately sized washers at the hardware store and added them to each of the bolts untill the cotter key hole lined up with the castle nut so it couldnt loosen - my front end tightened up a bunch and hasn't loosened since.

thanks ill give that a try i have both castle nuts and reg mm bolts
