Kazuma Panda 110
#1
Hello all,
Total ATV newb here. Picked up a fine Kazuma Panda 110-4SAR.
I got this little bugger from a friend of a friend with kids who were monkeying around with it and unbolted the carb. He also said it had a gas tank leak somewhere and that was the only things wrong with it and asked me if I wanted it. The plastic body parts are cracked, the battery is shot, and the tires are worn. It came with an owners manual so I said sure and I took it. FREEBIE!!!
Got it home and it sat for about a year. Finally got to it and started to give it the once over and took off the body plastic to get a better feel for what it needs.
Body plastic:
Cracked, etc,
Battery:
Is shot. Tried to charge it and it won’t take a charge at all. Looks like I need a new one.
Gas tank
The leak is from where the petcock bolts to the tank. The bolts pulled through the plastic and it looks like I need a new tank\petcock? The studs on the other side also pulled through. Is there another type of tank I can use without the petcock? A tank with just a fuel hose barb instead of the petcock?
Carb:
I don’t have any experience dinking around with these so I figure getting a replacement would be faster than rebuilding? The cable that comes out the top looks beat up. How do you replace that cable at the carb?
Air filter:
Is there an aftermarket one instead of using that huge airbox?
Right side\Front Brake Lever:
Is busted off. The cables are there, but the lever and associated bracket is gone.
Left side\Switch module:
Has ignition switch\engine switch\light switch\horn. The ignition switch seems broken or frozen. Not understanding what it is for anyway. Can you replace it or does the whole module need replacing?
I have been reading some of the postings here and parts are interchangable but what parts? Does someone have any recommendations for the parts I am needing? Is there a service manual for this thing?
Thanks,

replacing the throttle cable that connects to the slide on top of the carb is a simple process. simply take it apart, see how the grooves are connected, the lead crimped end goes inside of the return spring and feeds out the top. take pictures of the inside before you disassemble it if you're uncomfortable about it.
