My neighbor gave me his old Chinese quad when he got another one. I didn't run so I took it to my small engine guy. He replaced the carb and it ran fine. I rode it this weekend and it ran out of gas. I added gas and now it won't run at all. I went ahead and replaced the spark plug thinking maybe it was fouled, but that didn't help any. Any ideas?

 

does the float bowl have gasoline in it? when cranking, is the spark plug wet? can it start on ether/starting fluid? just one small shot in the air filter while cranking should do it. if it starts on ether, then you have a fuel delivery problem. like dirty jets. you checked for spark, right?

 

It's getting fuel... The plugs wet. I found a bare wire between the coil and the plug... Gonna start there
