Default 110cc extended crank time

I have a chinese 110cc 4 wheeler that has an extended crank time. you have to crank it over for about 15 min before it will start. once it starts you can shut it off and it will crank right back up

What is the history of this quad? Did this problem grow gradually over time, or is this a sudden onset?

During the 15 minutes of cranking, does the quad show any evidence of trying to start?

During the 15 minutes of cranking have you checked for spark? Is the spark plug wet with fuel?

When was the last time you checked the valve clearance?

Have you measured the compression?

It got worse over a period of about a month. It does try to start the whole time. It has spark the whole time. Never checked valve clearance and i dont have a compression tester.

Adjust the valves. Get that out of the way at least. Tight valves lead to very hard starting when cold (and eventually no starting), but once the engine warms up even a little it starts up fine and runs fine.

Adjusted the intake valve because it wasn't closing all the way and now it starts right up. Thank you again for the help
