When you bent the float, did you remove the jets and make sure all is clean?

So I be taken the carb off cleaned the jet and tightened the boot it had maybe a half turn on each screw got some new fuel n fired it up , it started first time n was reving a bit less but still to high so I tried the accelerator n that also worked now so there was defiantly a air leak on the boot I'd say . Turned it off give the air screw a turn n it won't start now I took the plug out n it was a bit oily cleaned it but it won't start at least I no a few things r done now just gota sort this starting up thing now

Did the plug look like it had oil running from the outside down the threads like it came from the oil leak you mentioned? If not are you sure it wasn't gas? The vacuum leak should have burnt your plug as white as a sheet of paper, but if you had everything set rich to compensate for the air leaking, then fixing the vacuum leak may have caused it to run rich. This could have fouled the plug.
Also on the won't start issue does it have spark? To test this pull your plug or use a spare and hook your plug wire to it. Ground the threads near the spark plug hole on the head and crank the engine. You should see a bright blue spark flash about 10 times a second.

Another possibility is while running it lean it burt up the plug. When you started the bike it ony partially fired and fouled out with gas.

If you are sure it was indeed oil and it came from the inside of the engine. ....

The first thing I'd check would be to make sure all my vacuum lines were in the correct spots and that you didn't leave something off. Also check the vent tubes on the carb and crank case and see if they are plugged up.
