Hey there new to the forum.

Recently bought a 50cc 4 stroke quad make unknown and the previous owner has messed with the electrics removing all the lights and the key ignition and the kill switch?

The quad starts off a push button still but im having to flood it to turn off theres 2 wires coming from the ignition button wires black and purple I was told that if I wired an inlime switch to the purple (earth) it would work as a kill switch but it didnt it just disables the ignition button whwn in off position anyone know how I would install a kill switch? Limited knowledge of quad electrics...
