is it centrifugal style clutch? like the honda e22? if so just swap the clutch discs from the new clutch to the old one with the softer springs

So its shifting nice! But.... sounds like the spanner nut came off again????? Is it usually loud when its new or is my suspicion right? At this point its a matter of why! I know that it was secured (the weird washer that you bend a tab into the nut)??? Has this ever happened to anybody? Am I just retarded?

yes i had this happen to mine the nut bottomed out prematurely and i realized i had lost a washer between the nut and the locking tab washer. i installed a decent thickness washer and re tightened the nut and there was no more grinding/whining noise from the clutch
