sound like you need the carb cleaned and adjusted.

define "cleaned the carb". did you physically pull the jets out and clean them? can you see daylight through them? all orifices? did you pull the needle valve/seat out and clean it? sounds like a fuel delivery issue due to not meeting demand. have you checked the intake boot for vacuum leaks?

i puller out the jets sprayed them with carb cleaner and made sure that i was ablt to see throught them and then sprayed the bowl and the rest of the carb. then other times i dipped it in a gallon can of carb cleaner for 30-60 min which worked for a while but then it went back to not driving. i used a compressor to make sure there was no blockage of the tubes/passage ways and there are no leaks and the needle valve and intake boot is clear the way it runs i checked today is that there isnt enough gas going into the carb bowl. it will idle great but if you give it too much throttle it will drive great till the gas in the bowl runs out and it will stall and only start after a few moments after more gas flows into the bowl

ok, your needle valve is sticking open, but it's almost closed. pull it apart again, spray carb cleaner in it, run a QTip in/out of the seat, blow it with air to remove any cotton strands, put it back together. while apart, poke a small gauge wire in the orifices of the jets and down the center to verify there ain't NO small pieces of debris. even a little can stop fuel from getting to the cylinder. once the float/needle valve is reinstalled, use your finger to actuate the float up/down and verify the needle valve is moving, if not, redo it. if it does move freely, install float bowl and fire it up.

so think it would just be an adjustment and if so what needs to be adjusted and is there a possibility that it could be the timing and if so how? thanks

does that intake boot have an O-Ring on the flange? if so, is it facing the right way? I mean, a vacuum leak could cause bogging due to not enough fuel and too much air. please check that.
