Default What type of fuse

Does it matter what type of fuse i use for my quad as in AGC or GMA?

In this case no it does not matter just a fuse with the correct amp value.

However Lynn Edwards may have more to offer on this issue and I would most certainly take his advice over mine anytime, Every time.

you're talking about the inline glass fuse, right? not the twin blade, right? i'm not that technical on fuses to be honest with you. but install one that is no more than a 7 amp fuse. do not go bigger. that is usually the standard on inline fuses for quads.

put in a 7amp fuse and it blew i should be using 10 amps

well, if your 7 amp immediately blows, i think you got a grounding issue and the voltage is spiking. that fuse is designed to be the weak electrical link. it's been my experience and a lot of threads that show a blowing fuse is usually caused by voltage issues...usually a grounding issue.
