i gotta ask you something....why did you just throw parts at it? i mean, if you think about it, if your car or truck didn't start, would you replace the battery or the coil or the alternator? if it cranks, the battery is good. just test the voltage. is it bogging down the battery and barely turning over? is that why you replaced it? just asking...
now for the no spark, the smaller kiddie quads are notorious for the following:
left handlebar red slider kill switch comes unplugged.
backside of keyed ignition can be tight-follow that wiring as a wire may have rubbed a hole in itself against something and is causing an issue.
quick connects along spark circuit comes unplugged.
so, have you checked the quick connects along the wiring harness/loom?
you can also disconnect them and look at the different spades to see if one of them pushed back and is not making good contact.
please don't get offended about my first remarks on parts. we're trying to save you money and a lot of headaches.

It was the cdi. And i bought the battery cause there wasn't one to begin with. As for the other parts, i was told by two different people two different things as to what was wrong. Now, i get it to start but it dies a few seconds after. Acting like no fuel but i completely disassembled the carb and cleaned it. Does it sound like i need a new carb?

so when the fuel tank is lined up to the carb, you got fuel in the float bowl, right? does it run when you give it throttle and it just doesn't idle? if so, then i'd say pull the pilot jet back out and clean it again. it doesn't take very much to plug up that pilot jet. do you have a fuel filter on the quad? if not, get an inline filter, cut the gas feed line in half and spud that filter in. that'll help eliminate a debris/contaminant possibility for ya. for what it's worth, i've cleaned a carb and its jets five or six times before i finally got all of the solids out of the gasoline. that's even after flushing the tank. i know it might be frustrating, but sometimes that what it takes...even on the name brand yamahas and hondas and others.

I have to salute Jasper94.... His advice is "spot on", as the Brits say.

Most problems with these Chinese bikes are simple and common and with a little study, predicable.
