Need help with kill switch
new guy here...just got a free little 4 wheeler for the kids. Says vitacci pathfinder 110w on the side.
Anywho, ive been ready around this forum all week and picking around trying to get it started. Ive got a new tank, battery, and carb on order so i can really get to testing. But today i poured gas straight to the engine and i couldnt get spark.. After reading some threads about pulling the blk/white wire from the cdi, i tried it and it actually got spark and cranked and turned on then off after a few seconds (no gas im assuming). Which leaves me with my question...now that ive figured there is a problem with the kill switch wire, what do i do to resolve it ? I really dont want to eliminate it since i want the rear kill switch to work since i will have young kids riding it.

trace that wiring out through the loom/wiring harness and see if you've got a wiring deficiency such as a pinched wire or broken wire. anywhere from the left handlebar red kill slider switch to the key to the rear tether. check each quick connect to make sure the spade inside didn't pull back and ain't making good contact.
