battery short in the fuse?

Default battery short in the fuse?
on my 110cc atv the 2 red wires that are connected by a fuse are shorted. for some reason one is negative and one is positive ,why is one negative? how cam i fix this? thanks

did you buy this quad used? wow, post a pic of what you're talking about, this don't sound right.
