got a yingnaite 72cc, had on spark, got a cdi and coil and still no spark, got a stator and it ran great for 15 min. or more but I could not get it to turn off, none of the kill switches would stop it, not the key, the kill switch on the bars or the rear string kill switch, and had to turn off the gas to get it to stop running, ran 3 more 15 min. runs and it ripped, still no stop, so I got out the old cdi and put it back on to see what happens and hit the starter button and ran for 1 second and now now spark again. did a bad cdi short out stator?

how do I tell if it a A/C OR D/C

 

when idling, are the headlights dim or bright? when revved up, are they bright or dim?

 

Is this a test for the regulator?

 

it's a poor man's test or a test without a meter.

 

not sure about the ac dc thing havnt had it running long enuff to see much
