110cc Starting Issue
#1
I pick 2 two of these machine cheap from a friend. One is tore apart already for parts, but one is close to working. I installed a new battery and the starter runs but there is no turning over in the motor. I took off the Stator and I can see the smaller chain in there turning while the starter is running. but thats as far as i can get. What should I try?
Thanks in advance for the help and this will probably end up being a long thread LOL!! Thanks again!!

I would first try turning the motor with a socket and wrench to make sure that the piston isn't siezed in the cylinder. You can do that by removing the motor cap on the left side of the vehicle (from rider's position) in the center of the engine. Use the correct size socket and ratchet and turn the socket counter clockwise. If it turns then most likely your piston is not siezed up. You can then try to start it while looking through the same hole to see if the nut rotates when you try to start it. That will let you know that it is cranking the motor. Then you can work from there.

just pull the spark plug see if you have compression when its turning. or you can put a drinking straw in their and see if the piston is moving at all ether way will work. Possible it has suck bad compression that it sounds like its not turning. Iv seen these things blow a hole in middle of piston.
