sod it took block off and sure.....one of the piston rings is jammed. New piston and rings on order. et you know how it runs when all back together

 

Can I use this block. Few light marks on the bore but you cannot feel them:

I wouldn't I would boar it out and put in 010 over rings just to be sure. You could and probably should bead hone it see if it comes out first but it doesn't look like it will from those picks.

 

Thing is ive ordered the piston and rings already and you cant even feel the marks on the boar. Should i buy a new bore???? or will i be ok???

 

What would happen if i put it back together with new piston and rings...would it just burn a bit of oil??

 

Sorry for the few messages but would would i get hold of oversized rings???

i'm not for sure if you could hone that out or not. here's my disclaimer: i hate for you to put it all back together and not have much compression...then again, you could get lucky, stab everything back and have 180+psig on compression.

 

So if i build it back together i would have not full compression...would it use oil and blow a little blue smoke out??
