your compression would be adequate, but you more than likely would have more than normal blowby.

 

I take it blowby means compression running past the rings into the crankcase a little.. Sorry im a total newbie..Will it burn oil though

 

Sorry for the late reply I have been crazy at work. I see you bought the big bore kit!! The cyl. being scored is a write off if you cant bore it, weather you feel it or not add the heat and pressure of a running motor and viola grenade primed IMHO you made the right choice.
