No key for kazuma meerkat 50

Default No key for kazuma meerkat 50

a frieng gave me a kazuma meerkat 50, without the key. It needs a battery tires and prob carb clean, there are 6 wires for ignition I don't care about the light, can someone tell my what wires to connect to start, I will prob just wire a on off switch, but wanna make sure it runs first. Thanks

don't hack the wiring. mark/label the wires for the ignition switch. then remove it, take it to a locksmith, get 2 keys made for <$20. i did this and got 2 keys for $15 in less than 2 hrs. well worth the time and money to avoid wiring headaches down the road. just saying, don't hack the wiring, it'll cause you more headaches than you want.

Too late! Already cut switch off. The thing is pretty beat, hence it was given. He did say it ran 2 years ago when it was parked. Just need to find out what wires to connect.

i just jammed a screwdriver in mine broke the ignition. now any key will turn it on or off

Christ, I guess I'm going to have to buy a new ignition, no such thing as a free quad...or boat, ask me how I know!
