I have this thing torn apart...

I never have had the key to it so I took the ignition apart and wired the correct wires together. I'm getting blinking LED light in front and tail lights work.

Ive been up and down the wiring and i've found a couple hot spots but I think my real problem may be the "remote receiver".

I can't find any major issues so does anyone know how to by-pass a receiver or... I dunno what to do.

 

I can get it to crank by putting juice directly to the starter. I haven't actually gotten it to fire though as it should.

 

so you're jumping the solenoid. hmmm....well, i would think you would need to take the ignition out, take it to a locksmith, pay them ~$20 to make 1 or 2 keys for you, reinstall your ignition switch so we know EXACTLY what we got there. then we would need to make sure your brake switch works as more than likely on a 50cc machine it is going to be a safety interlock. if that ain't satisfied, it will prevent your starter from cranking. then, if applicable, make sure your rear tether kill switch is intact. remote receiver or whatever, i got no idea--i have no experience with that.

 

That remote has been known to cause trouble before.
