I am replacing the water pump on my gator 250. When I removed the impellar I found the rear seal cracked it two. After I removed the copper washer underneath the impellar the spring loaded rear seal fell out. I tried to get the stainless steel cup out by trying to get something underneath the lip edge to get it started and just pry it out but it doesn't budge. Tried to remove the seal from the new one but it acts like it doesn't want to come out and I am afraid I will damage it. Any suggestions?
