i am posting some pics of a ningbo dongfang linyun atv. Are these marketed as something else. I cannot find a replacement ignition box for it.i pasted A link to the pics on my flikr account.

are you looking for the remote kill witch box or a cdi? the box you have pictured is remote kill

It thought that box was the CID box with the connector for starter kill, the 2 tab connector

 

No. It probably connects to the kill switch with that plug since it is a remote kill. Google cdi and look at the images. Since it is a import quad look in the worst place for the cdi. Usually under the front fender. Where it can nice and wet
