Yep. Those are the ones I have. Oh I need to mention, I used the same shocks for both the front and rear. The rear is soft only having one shock. I have not messed with the adjustment as my son doesn't weigh over 50lbs. If an adult or heavy child is going to ride I'm not sure how stiff it can be adjusted. Cheap enough to try though. I hope this helps.

Thanks! That does help. If you were to do it again, would you get the same shocks front and rear or get something a little stiffer for the back?

Yes I'd buy them again. They are set on softest setting so they will last us probably as long as the quad itself.

It feels like it. They function properly like they should. Not like a stiff pogo stick that comes factory.

I was considering wheel spacers but the 1/2" or so i dropped with the shorter shocks widened it just enough. The lower a-arms are now perfectly flat across the frame from wheel to wheel. I didn't measure how much wider but it did make a difference. Im sure you'll be pleased with them. I know they have worked great for us and are leaps and bounds better than factory. I don't know why they wouldn't put these on in the first place. The factory shocks are useless unless you weigh 200lbs.

This quad was really narrow.. I made spacers 1 9/16" wide..so its a little over 3" wider now.. Ive got 2 of these mini quads and it looks much meaner now.. well as mean as a 90cc Chinese mini utility can look.. Been wanting to start a thread on it but havnt had time..

I will take a few pics this weekend..

My son has a Coolster 125cc Sport. I'm with you on the crappy shocks! I cant believe they even put them on. They are literally not even shocks.

I wanted to thank you for posting your results. I went ahead and bought a pair of the 11.5" 320# shocks for the front of my boys quad this morning.

Did you install them in the mounts furthest away from the frame or the closer mount?

Also for the rear shock, you used an 11.5" 320# back there too? Did it raise the back of the quad up? I measured mine and it looks like it's a 10.5" eye to eye. I was initially looking for a 10" shock so it'll lower the rear end a little. Just curious how yours sits.

There is a company on Ebay selling a yellow rear shock for $49 plus $17 shipping that rates it for 60-90 riders and is adjustable. I thought about buying one of those for his quad. I did some asking around on Ebay to the vendors selling some of the standard adjustable youth atv shocks and was thankful to get some honest answers that they are too stiff and don't buy them.

I went ahead and purchased a set of 11" dampers for the rear and 12.5" for the front (proper size for our 125cc Coolster Mountopz). Both sets were the same spring rate as noted above. I found the rear to be extremely soft compared to the fronts once installed (I could bottom it out by leaning on the rear of the quad), so I checked nitrogen pressures and found that the fronts came with 28 PSI but the rear had 0. I increased nitrogen pressure to 28 PSI to match the fronts but there was no noticeable difference in compression or rebound (non-functional pressure adjustment?). Increasing spring pre-load to max got it close but still a little on the soft side. Regardless of the rear being a little soft, it's still a drastic improvement over the stock dampers. I may mess with it more when the kids get heavier but it should be great for a couple years... or when they start jumping the quad. :-)
