Any time I turn on my ignition key on the smaller black wire from the battery terminal starts to heat up. I don't know what is causing this. this is happenning when it's not even running. Try to find a short check to ground okay I would appreciate any help thanks

 

Check the connection of that wire at both ends.. If you have a ohm/volt meter you could check continuity of that wire.
