Tao Tao ATA125-D Clutch Replacement
#1
My kids burned out the clutch in our Tao Tao ATA125-D. The place we bought it from said it's not worth repairing, and we'd be better off buying a whole new unit (even though they said they would be able to perform any needed repairs when we bought it). The parts seem relatively inexpensive and I've watched a youtube video and I think I can handle replacing it myself. I'm just wondering if anyone here has done it and if there are any pointers to offer. I am also wondering what to order. I am seeing the replacement clutch, clutch pads, a clutch gasket, and a clutch tool available on one site. Can anyone advise me on which of these items are necessay to install the new clutch. The store websites don't offer any guidance. I don't want to pull the old one apart until the new one is here so I can have it fresh in my memory as I go.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

Its pretty simple.. Id get a gasket just it tears taking the case off.. get a whole clutch assy.. if not get fiber plate's, steel plate's and new spring's.. The clutch holding tool is handy if its reasonably priced..
