Avanti Intruder 100CC key missing
#1
So a neighbor gave me this Avanti intruder and said have fun... if you can get it running, its yours. his kid and mine will play on it and have fun if we can get it going.
heres the catch. NO KEY. It did look like this ignition had been spliced into this system as a replacement, or so it seems. these wires in the picture were all just spliced in.

Is there a way to tie those four wires on the ATV together and just bypass the entire need for the key system? just use the kill switch? or am I better off finding a replacement 4 wire ignition? The colors are all the exact same coming out of the wiring harness that these attached too. The other square plug is for lights I believe and wasn't connected.

Find a four wire ignition key set up. Most Chinese bikes follow the old Honda system of two wires connected with ignition on, the other two are connected when you turn ignition off. Lots of these switches on eBay. Normal set up, green = earth, black with white tracer = kill from CDI, red = live from battery, other wire is live to starter and lighting circuits etc.
