110cc syloinod problems?

Default 110cc syloinod problems?

110cc low hours on this bike ran great then one day the battery started to get week. soon after the syolinod started clicking i put a new one on and it did the same thing now im getting no power at all when i put the charger on my neutral lite will blink as the trickle charger pushes juice but the charger flashes a red warning light then turns itself off after 5 mins or so also the battery is brand new

Have your tried to disconnect the battery and charge? if it does the same thing then your battery is bad.

no i havent disconnected it yet the battery is only about a month old but i did swap batteries from another quad and got the same issue on this particular bike

Do you have a volt meter. If not, get one as they are very handy. If so, what volts is your battery reading with everything off?

Your Solenoid is clicking as there is not enough power to turn the starter motor.

You can also try to start your engine with the battery charger connected to your battery. Just do this for a short time as you don't want to damage your charger.

the battery was reading 11.2 as was the current through the solenoid

my charger shuts off as soon as i turn over the engine as a safety devise could this be a voltage regulator problem

another issue of topic is i have a 91 trx 200 i just picked up yesterday im getting a strong spark but it just wont start the guy i got it from rolled it said he turned it off but after that it just wouldn't start could this be a carb issue it acts like its getting to much fuel if i put my hand over the carb and turn it over it pours fuel into the air box

Not enough power. Sounds like your new battery has a bad cell. 12.6 is a fully charged battery. My battery will even sometimes read 13.5

it could be i have tried two batteries though and they both work on other bikes but not on this one

i will try jumping it off my truck and see what that does for me if that works do i just need to get a bigger battery
