Yes sort of like the mighty vac... never had a problem with it.. have done what you talk about also... used a shampoo bottle with a nipple on it.. put 3/16 hose on it and pushed the fluid up thru the system.. saw and bought the HF pump and never loked back.. now there is a auto shop across from my machine shop... he had a industrial sized one... must hold 2 gals easy... I use it now...

Yeah, the local UTV shop has a similar set up but push fluid type.

I always wanted to build a push fluid type of tool, figured a bicycle pump would be all the pressure needed and a reservoir of some type. Never got past the thought stage.
