Just bought it today for my daughter, put it together, and it pretty much started right up. But as soon as I give it any throttle at all, it stalls. Even the idle doesnt sound all that steady to me, but never having owned one before I'm not sure what it should sound like.
But, anyway, what do I do to fix this? The only adjustment I see on the carb is the idle screw, and I've tweaked that back and forth and it doesn't solve the problem.

 

First place i would start is block the back end up off the ground and let it run for a bit giving it slight throttle.. May be some residue in the carb from assembly. Also did you flow the manual before starting. Sometimes they are shipped with a shipping fluid in the motor and you need to change that out
