125CC Tao Tao No Start, Help
#1
Pullin my hair out here.
Son was using his newly bought Tao Tao 125, bought it in 2017. and then one day he went to start it and bam, no click no lights no nothing.
So i figured out the whole light situation, back connection at the ignition going back to the wiring harness, I thought the no start was because of a bad starter solenoid and bad starter, replaced both of them.
I can get all the lights to come on but i get no Click on the push button. We used to push start this all the time cause sometimes the battery would die and what not.
but im at a loss on what it going, i was at an understanding that if my break light comes on then all my safety's are engaged to allow it to start. But i cant even get a click out of if with the button. Anyone ever run into this issue, if i cross the solenoid i can get it to turn over but not start.
Any help is apprecaited.

One of the thin wires on solenoid comes from the start button, the other thin wire is fed direct from either ignition switch (live all the time) or direct from negative (earth). The wire to the start button comes from either earth or the ignition switch. Check these wires, I would start checking at solenoid and work backwards from there. May well be start button not working. Lockouts can be inserted in this circuit which complicates things but methodical checking should find the fault.
