Spark plug
#2
If the plug is "fouling" getting covered in carbon, the engine is probably running far too rich, Clogged air filter, choke stuck, incorrect rebuild or adjustment of carb, or badly worn cylinder bore, are likely causes. If the plug looks OK but the bike works only when you put a new one in, check for overcharging by putting a voltmeter across the battery with engine running, the voltage shouldn't go above 14.5v. I had a Suzuki engined Arctic Cat that would need new plugs every week, only when the owner said "the lights are very bright" did I check the voltage and found it to be overcharging. Once a new voltage reg was fitted, no more need for new plugs.
